Questions…

What happens when the number of trial tickets available to purchase run out?

You can still enter the ground using any of the other methods to pay for entry. We hope to increase the number of QR code tickets available once we bed the process in.

What happens when I order a ticket?

You will receive an email confirmation of your order. In the body of the email message you will see a QR code. You will also have a PDF attached to the email with the QR code on it.

You will need to bring this QR code along with you on matchday so you can get in.

What if I don’t receive my order confirmation or my QR code?

Please contact the shop so we can find out what happened to your order.

Why are you bringing this in?

It will provide another option to enter the ground. We are continuing to provide the current methods as well. But with supporter numbers increasing in the 24/25 season some fixtures have been delayed due to congestion into the ground. QR codes allow for a speedier entry into the ground.

Additionally, with attendances continuing to grow (records being broken three times in 24/25) the club needs to mitigate for an occasion where numbers will need to be controlled.

How many times can I use the QR code for entry?

Just like a normal ticket, you can only use it once.

Once you use your QR code for entry, you will be marked as checked in to the ground and the code will not be valid for entry for anyone else for the fixture you have purchased or for any other fixtures.

Do I need internet when I’m at the ground to use the QR code?

You will need internet to purchase the ticket. Once you purchase a ticket you will receive the QR code as a PDF which you can download to your device, or you can do a screen grab of the QR code and save it to your device or print the PDF out.

If you don’t do one of these then yes you will need internet at the ground. Be safe and do a screen shot of the QR code at least.

How do I use the ticket at the ground?

When arriving at the St Leonard’s Road entrance, head to the turnstile on the right and present your QR code. Your code will then be scanned from your device or from your printed PDF. You will then be admitted into the ground.

What if I forget to bring the QR code or I can’t access it for some reason?

If you bring with you some ID with the name of the person who ordered the ticket will should be able to locate your ticket. But ideally do try and bring the QR code along!

Can I continue to pay for entry by cash and not use QR codes?

Yeah you can, we don’t plan to remove the other options to enter the ground and you can continue to pay by cash or card at the gate unless it is specifically outlined otherwise ahead of the fixture.

What if the game is postponed?

In the event of the postponement of a Match you all match tickets purchased will be refunded.

What if the match is abandoned?

In the event of the abandonment of a Match before half time all match tickets will be refunded.

Can I get a refund after I have ordered a ticket?

You will not be able to cancel your order and/or seek a refund for your Tickets once ordered, except in accordance with DTFC’s Ticket Refund Policy or in accordance with your rights as a consumer under law (for which please contact your local Citizen’s Advice Bureau).

For more information see the The Terms and conditions of sale.

Eventually, will QR Codes be the only way of entering the ground?

There will still be all the same methods of entering the ground as there is at the moment, card, cash and season tickets. This just provides another option which we may need to use when crowd congestion is a possibility.
